Walter P. Taylor Thanksgiving Outreach

God blessed us greatly on Wednesday, November 25th, at
the Walter P. Taylor Thanksgiving Dinner. We served over
200 meals to the residents who have touched our hearts so
deeply! We tried to make the evening special by greeting
them at the door, seating them at a table, and then serving
them a complete, delicious dinner, including dessert. We
feel our efforts were well received and appreciated. One of
the participants commented that the dinner gave her the op-
portunity to visit with her neighbors - - something that we all
take for granted.

A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU for making this event so successful (even in the absence of the
Weimers who were in Guatemala on a Two Rivers Mission Trip) to:

* The 40+ volunteers who gave their time and service

* Pepsi, who donated all of the drinks

* Kroger, who gave us a discount and specially prepared the food

* Gables and Gates, Wanda Carder, and several individuals and small groups whose
generous financial contributions paid for this event

* Two Rivers Church for allowing us to use their trailer, tables and chairs
